It’s hard to know where to start in this full scan of a summer 1999 Delia’s (EXCUSE ME! dELiA*s!) catalog. Suffice it to say that I would have been happy on any of my best days in the late 1990s to even so much as remotely resemble any human being pictured on those pages. Such effortless cool. Such wide flares. Such chunky soles.

Jaw-droppingly important.

There isn’t much else in this world from the last almost-34 years that fills me with such longing, rage, shame, and desperation as late-90’s Delia*s catalogs.

FEELINGS.

GAAAAAASP.

This is so important, I remember reading it over and over. Also, inflatable furniture.

They even had awesome combat boots and platform mary janes. *sigh*

is this like the catalog that they bought the sunnydale high extas from for buffy the vampire slayer or something

FUCK DELIA*S!  ALLOY FOR LYFE!!!!

lol  I did always prefer alloy for some reason.

in 1997-98 i worked in a call-center taking Alloy orders when they were just getting off the ground. weekend nights meant lots of slumber party prank calls.

oh man i always DESPERATELY wanted to order something from delia’s but my parents could never afford it so i would just circle the stuff i wanted and wish real hard for a miracle

i had this delia’s catalog in 1999. i remember it vividly because i looked at it SO many times.
